We would pick out a spot where the sunshine couldn't reach us all day, and where we could be close to a cool spring and a running brook. Then we would have seats under the trees and the teacher's desk should be close to the largest oak we could find." Then the children go to Grandma & Grandpa Larkin's for the summer. The fourth of July soon follows. A delightful book about children on their summer vacation and how they didn't get into much mischief.
