An Act to rectify a Mistake in an Act made in the Sixth Year of the Reign of His late Majesty King George, for preventing Frauds and Abuses in the Public Revenues of Excise, Customs, Stamp Duties, Post-office, and House-money, relating to the Condition of Bonds taken from Masters of Ships; and to indemnify Persons who have acted under the said Mistake; and also to obviate a Doubt which has arisen, upon an Act made in the Seventh Year of His said late Majesty's Reign, for the further preventing His Majesty's Subjects from trading to The East Indies under Foreign Commissions; and for encouraging and further securing the lawful Trade thereto; with regard to Prosecutions in Ireland, in a summary Way, for the fraudulent Importation of East India Goods into that Kingdom. 12 Geo. 2. c. 22.
