Dulac was a well known magazine illustrator, book illustrator and stamp designer. After the second world war he was responsible for design elements of the first stamps of the Queen Elizabeth II era. His book illustrations were featured in many important editions of The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, The Sleeping Beaut, Hans Christian Andersen, and Edgar Allan Poe, amongst others.
