Edges of spine frayed, boards rubbed and marked, inscription to front free endpaper (dated 1900), hinges cracked. Only a fair to good copy overall. This is a rather odd book - there is no copy listed in the British Library Public Catalogue, and the preface calims it to be the 8th volume in a series of illustrated books descriptive of home and foreign travel. The whole series seems to be elusive - I have only been able to turn up copies of London and America, and I have no idea what the other 5 volumes cover.
