There is some light spotting of the binding, a bookplate to the front pastedown, and a short ownership inscription; overall, the book is in good to very good condition. The dustwrapper is in fair condition only (some spotting, torn with loss to the top of the spine panel and parts of the front and rear panels). The dustwrapper has now been put in a mylar cover to protect it. This is the first-issue dustwrapper, featuring an illustration of the interior of Gloucester Cathedral.
