Uniformly bound in half brown calf, dark green boards. The bindings are rather rubbed and a little scuffed, and there is some foxing of the preliminary pages; overall, this set is in good condition. Volumes 1-3 are the prose works (dated 1838, no edition stated); volume 4 is the poetical works (dated 1841, fourth edition), and Tales from Shakspeare is the fifth volume (dated 1838, sixth edition).
