Description: Lipsiae: Sumtibus Caspari Fritsch, 1735. Two volumes bound in one. Thick 8vo, title, 8pp dedication, LVI, 858pp; [x], pp859-1316, 159pp index. Folding engraved frontispiece, 4 folding plates. Full brown calf, 5 raised bands to spine, gilt titling and elaborate gilt tooling to spine, marbled endpapers, red page edges. Binding rubbed and lightly bumped in places, text block spotted and browned, but the spine remains satisfyingly bright, and this is a good plus copy overall. A previous owner has added tabs to the fore-edge of 6 of the pages for ease of reference.
