Description: Paris: Ateliers Photomechaniques, 1908. First edition (hardback), premiere partie seulement. A portfolio of 59 plates (of 60 - lacks plate number 38) plus a 16-page booklet. The plates and the booklet measure 40cm x 30cm. The portfolio case is quarter red cloth, printed grey boards, cloth ties to all three open edges. There is some chafing to the spine of the case, some rubbing of the boards, some chafing to the margins of the booklet; the plates are in very good condition (a few have some minor chafing of the margins). Overall, this set is in good condition, but please note that one plate (plate 38) is lacking. text in French (texte en francais).
