No edition stated, but presumed first edition (hardback). 4to (29cm by 23cm), title, 222pp. Illustrated throughout in b&w, plus a colour frontispiece and several folding colour plates. Original half grey cloth, printed grey boards. The binding is in scruffy condition; the front board is bowed, and both boards are scuffed and stained. There is thumbing to the leading edge, and one of the plates has been bound in upside-down, but the text block is otherwise in very good condition. Suitable as a reading, working, reference or binding copy.
