Second edition, complete in two hardback volumes, limited to 1000 sets, of which this is set number 893. 4to (38cm by 29cm), xv, 325pp. 304 portrait plates. Finely bound in full red morocco, gilt titling to the front board and the spine, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers. The bindings are lightly rubbed, there is some light scuffing to the extremities of the bindings, and the preliminary pages are lightly foxed, but the bindings are bright, and the contents are clean and tightly bound. Overall, this set is in good to very good condition. The books are undated; COPAC estimates a publication date of 1932. This is the second edition; the first edition was published in 1908-1913.
