Rebound in quarter dark blue cloth, marbled boards, red morocco title label to the spine, with the original illustrated wrappers bound in. This copy is generally in very good condition but, curiously, the signatures appear to have been cut before the book was bound, with the result that different signatures have been cut to different lengths. This means that some pages are wider than others. The overhanging parts of the wider pages are a little dusty and spotted. "Il a ete tire de cet ouvrage vingt-cinq exemplaires numerotes sur papier du Japon; exemplaire no. 22".
