An attractive production, with numerous text illustrations, and the pages of the Life of Horace have colour-printed decorated borders. Bound in full white vellum, gilt titling and design to the spine, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. The binding is rubbed and dusty, there is an ownership inscription, the preliminary pages are foxed, the contents are otherwise clean and tightly bound. Overall, this copy is in good to very good condition.
