No edition stated, but presumed first (hardback). 4to (31cm by 23cm), 48pp. Illustrated throughout by Patty Townsend, Lilian Russell & G G Kilburne, with 16 pages of chromolithographs. Original brown cloth, gilt titling to the front board, all edges gilt, decorated endpapers. Binding a little rubbed, and there is some light damage to the colour illustrations on pages 8 and 9 (where the pages have previously adhered together). Otherwise, the contents are in very good condition. Overall, this copy is in good plus condition.
