Description: London Topographical Society, 1938. Publication number LXXII (72) of the London Topographical Society, consisting of a brown card folder with three large plates (measuring 58cm by 45cm). The plates are in very good condition, the folder has some minor wear to the edges. The full title of the publication is: Survey of all lands and tenements belonging to the worshipful company of the clothworkers of London, made by Raphe Treswell the Elder in the month of July A.D. 1612 in the time of Mr Hughe, Morall master of the said company, Mr James Chapman, Mr Robert Reynolds, Mr Joseph Jackson, and Mr George Rogers, wardens of the said company, to which has been added certain further surveys of some of the properties in the year 1728. Publication 72 contains plate (1), clothworkers' hall in 1612; plate (2), St James in the Wall in Cripplegate, London, in 1612, and plate (3), St James in the Wall, second survey made in 1728 by John Worgan.
