Especially for this publication Chagall produced 16 lithographs in color and 12 in black & white plus the lithographed covers and title page. The lithographs were printed by Mourlot Freres. Introduction, in French, by Meyer Schapiro, text by Jean Wahl. The binding is in excellent condition with minor damage to the top of the spine end. There are some gift signatures on the first endpaper. 36 x 27 cm. A beautiful copy with all lithographs and heliogravures in very fine condition. Near Fine.
