Large engraved folding map, hand coloured, in 2 sheets North and South, dissected onto linen in a total of 80 sections, complete size approximately 2040 x 1350mm ( 80 x 53 inches ), attractive cartouche, good original colour, some browning in places, marbled endpapers, edged in green silk which is loose in some areas, housed in a brown case with part of the original label, rubbed, worn and split at the joins. Only 3 currently showing on Copac where the date is given at between 1847 - 52, scarce. Good.
