Text photos, charts, and maps, plus humorous drawings by cartoonist Edmund Duffy of the Baltimore Sun. The four Americans and one Canadian, L. J. Belnap, began the three week fly fishing trip to Anticosti Island, specifically to the Jupiter and La Loutre rivers, in late June and concluded the expedition on July 25 1937. The group caught more than 250 Atlantic salmon on the fly, with the largest fish weighing 22 pounds. If you enjoy well-crafted travel/fishing narratives you’ll enjoy this book. The book is bound in green and beige cloth with gilt title on the spine and green title on the front cover. Map end papers. A nice book. Very good with just a touch of corner wear.
