Twelve full-page plates of flies and hooks including eight color plates of flies with descriptive tissue guards. Text drawings. The best book published on dressing feather-wing Atlantic salmon flies, despite the fact it has been more than a hundred years since its initial publication. Pryce-Tannatt’s dressing instructions are clear and correct, and his applications are just as relevant today. The book is bound in light brown cloth with silver titles on the spine. Pictorial dust jacket. There’s a former owner’s blind-stamp on the front end paper, the binding is somewhat discolored on the fore-edges. The dust jacket is good-very good with a chip on the lower front panel.
