Mr. Bruns had sent several Haig-Brown titles to Roderick’s home in Campbell River for him to sign/inscribed. Haig-Brown’s letter describes some of the books and the re-packing of them, and he included a few of his rare pamphlets as well. With the original mailing envelope. Haig-Brown also inscribed the book to Hank Bruns on the half-title page. The book is bound in quarter red morocco with gilt titles and gray cloth. Top edge gilt. A beautiful, fine book, with the always present discolored paste downs resulting from the binder's glue. With Hank Bruns’ distinctive bookplate on the front paste down. Publisher’s grey cloth slip case. A fine book in a very good slip case with light edge wear. A unique example of this book. Signed by Author and Illustrator.
