Signed by Ernest Schwiebert on the limitation page. A wet fly (Dark Hendrickson) dressed by Ernest Schwiebert is mounted within a recessed rectangle on a special mat board with protective tissue. This set is also inscribed and signed by Mr. Schwiebert on the half-title page in both volumes plus each volume has an ink drawing showing his "Evening Star" Atlantic salmon fly, drawn by Ernest Schwiebert in volume 1, and a dry fly drawn by him in volume 2. Color plates of flies and trout showing hundreds of patterns and trout species. Text illustrations and drawings. Trout is today, 40 years on since its publication, still the finest account published on trout and trout fishing. Both volumes bound in blue cloth with silver titles. Matching blue cloth slip case. A nice set with moderate fading to the set. The books and slip case in near fine condition. Signed by Author.
