Title: The Fly-Fisher’s Manual. A New and Consummate Guide to Matching the Hatch and More. {Signed by the Author}.
Description: Bozeman, Montana. Privately published. 1992. First Edition. Quarto (11 x 10). 97 pp. plus 2 leaves of Scintilla dubbing samples, note leaves, and 18 pp. showing Daiichi Fly Tyer’s Guide material samples (85 samples in total). Signed by Kenn Ligas on the Dedication page. Introduction by Ernest Schwiebert (with his signature in facsimile). Text drawings by the author and David Knickerbocker. The color samples are based on Gary Borger’s color system of matching stream insects with the correct dubbing shade. There’s detailed instructions on how best to imitate and dress mayflies, caddisflies, stone flies, and other aquatic bugs, encountered on streams of the west and eastern U.S. The book is bound in a three-ring white binder and the text sheets are protected in clear plastic sleeves. A very good book with some age-toning to the cover. Signed by Author.
