Also an 11 x 8 monograph sheet written in ink where Mr.Marinaro elucidates a little more on the nature of fly fishing and his contribution to it. Color plates showing artificial fly patterns effective for slow-moving streams. Black and white photos. Text drawings. Probably the most influential angling book of the mid-twentieth century because of its break-through research, descriptions and accounts of trout rise forms, and the fly patterns and techniques to imitate them. The book is bound in full brown calf with gilt titles and decorations. Brown leather slip case. A pristine book - as nice as you'll likely see. Fine in a fine slip case. Signed by Author.
