The plan which the author has adopted is to trace the history of each racial group from its original home in Europe, accentuating those incidents that show relationships between such races in Europe previous to their coming to Canada. The history has been documented so far as possible with quotations from contemporary records. The text incorporates the words of the ballads recently broadcasted by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in the series of musical talks conducted by (the author)."
