Description: London, W. Foulsham. Hard Cover with dust jacket. 223 pp, small 8vo (7 1/2" H). No date. Colour frontispiece. "Young Terence O'Connor was under Wellington's command, but he did not serve in the regular army. In the war in Spain and Portugal he led a small force or partisans - almost a private army of his own, which made daring raids deep into enemy territory. The risk of capture was always great, and twice Terence was taken prisoner - and twice he escaped. Each time he returned to lead his men back into danger, and time and again the gallant partisans struck hard against Napoleon's troops." Very light browning to pages and edges of text block, tiny dint on bottom edge of front board, tiny area of fading on front board. Dust jacket has moderate edge wear/creasing with some tiny tears and chips, colours are bright, protected in a mylar sleeve. Very Good/Good+.
