In 1959 "the Wiltshires were amalgamated with the Royal Berkshire Regiment to form the Duke of Edinburgh's Royal Regiment (Berkshire and Wiltshire)..Tom Gibson t e l l s t h i s exciting story and brings to life some of the great events in their history, events called to mind by the names emblazoned on the Regimental colours which now hang peacefully in Salisbury Cathedral in the heart of Wiltshire." Incl ud es t he mu si c an d lyrics for the Regimental March, which is based on an old Wilshire tune , 'The Vly'. Tiny light stain in margin of page 48 & 49, very light browning to edges of textblock, light fading to top edge of boards, small bump at top /bo tto m o f sp ine , tin y bump to bottom corners. Dust jacket has moderate edge wear/wrinkling, tiny chips/tears, two 1" tears (archivally taped), browning to spine and flap-folds. Very Good/Good.
