The plates illustrate: farming, gardening, pasturage, hunting, fishing, navigation, construction, upholstery, blacksmithing, armouring, coppersmithing, pottery, spinning, weaving, writing, garments, dancing, theatre, circus, gymnastics, musical instruments. Very light fading to top/bottom edges of boards and to spine, slight browning to some page edges, soft corner crease to top of plate XXXVII, four tiny faint water marks on plate XL I, tiny light stain on fore-edge of plate XXXVIII, light wrinkling to top of plate XXI - from manufacturing process (small area at top of plate XXII also). Dust jacket has moderate wrinkling along top edge (one tiny chip) - mainly at top of front panel and spine, spine color lightly faded, light rubbing. VG-/VG-.
