Very good in original stitched printed wrappers. Tiny ( cm) closed tear at edge of front wrapper and first leaf. Ink stamp of the Tate Gall ery on title and ink number at bottom of verso of last leaf otherwise unmarked. 28pp. John Howship (1781-1841) was a respected British surgeon seving at St. George's Hospital then at Charing-Cross Hospital. He c o n t r i b u t e d a n u m b e r o f w o r k s t o t h e o rthopaedic literature of the period.
