Mit Verfasserwidmung auf dem vorderen fliegenden Vorsatz: "Für Gertrud und Aloys [Siggemann], mit herzlichem Gruss von Onkel V.S." Beiliegend zwei handschriftliche Postkarten von Victor Scholderer an seine Nichte Gertrud Siggemann, datiert 8. Nov. 1963 und 2. Mai 1964, beide unterzeichnet mit "Onkel Victor". - Scarce first edition. Original blue morocco-backed boards, spine gilt with title, upper edge gilt. One of 100 copies printed on handmade paper. "V.S." signed inscription by Scholderer to Gertrud und Aloys [Siggemann]. Added are two handwritten postcards by Scholderer. Julius Victor Scholderer (1880-1971) was the preeminent British incunabulist of the twentieth century, and author of the first eight volumes of the "Catalogue of Books Printed in the XVth Century Now in the British Museum" (1908-1949).
