Old vellum manuscript waste pasted on later cloth binding. First quire printed in red and black. ¶ The name of Erasmus on the title-page is overwritten: 'Briento Butoprodunio' [?]. (Erasmus' name is removed from most digital copies we've seen.) Indeed, the author is not Erasmus (he was merely the editor), but rather William Lily. ¶ Provenance: bookplate of Edmund McClure (d.1922) on upper paste-down. ¶ Edit16: CNCE 46699
