Copy on strong paper, with a manuscript dedication poem extolling the work of the bees, with reference to Van Damme's printers mark (a bee-hive with a greek motto: "Mega trephei megalous") and comparing them to the particles, the subject of his book: "Utilitas parvis axima rebus inest".; possibly Hoogeveens own copy. (ms.poem slightly stained, a few small spots, otherwise a splendid copy) ¶ "Niet minder dan 16 jaren heeft Hoogeveen gewerkt aan zijn beroemd boek 'Doctrina particulorum linguae Graecae', 2 dln.
