"He also discovered some fragments of the Annals, unknown to Columna in the MS.of a work of L.Calp.Piso, (...), entitled 'De continentia veterum poetarum', and preserved in the library of St.Victor in Paris" (Dunlop p.517). Brunet deplores that the 1707 edition of Ennius does not contain the notes by Merula)
