The drawings were silk-screened by Jo Watanabe. The book was bound by A. Horowitz & Sons." Numbered and signed in pencil. (Limitation leaf). Jorge Francisco Isidoro Luis Borges (1899-1986) was an Argentine short-story writer, essayist, poet and translator, and a key figure in Spanish-language literature. His best-known books, Ficciones (Fictions) and El Aleph (The Aleph), published in the 1940s, are compilations of short stories interconnected by common themes, including dreams, labyrinths, libraries, mirrors, fictional writers, philosophy, and religion. Solomon "Sol" LeWitt (1928-2007) was an American artist linked to various movements, including Conceptual art and Minimalism. He came to fame in the late 1960s with his wall drawings and "structures" (a term he preferred instead of "sculptures") but was prolific in a wide range of media including drawing, printmaking, photography, and painting. He has been the subject of hundreds of solo exhibitions in museums and galleries around the world since 1965. .
