Rear board spine has 1 1/2" cracked area to bottom of outer hinge. Inner hinges are sturdy, binding is tight and inner pages unmarked. Front free endpapers show moderate foxing. ; Author Fawkes (1769-1825) was best known as patron of artist J. M. W. Turner and a Member of Parliament for the Whig Party.
