[Brooklyn, NY: Historical Printing Club, 1888]. 27 pp. An octavo-size pamphlet, side-sewn and glued into plain paper wrappers. Fine within but wrappers show some soiling and edgewear. Very good overall. Melancthon Smith of New York, a member of the Continental Congress (1785-88), and of the New York State Convention, in which he opposed, but ultimately voted for the ratification of the new Constitution. This address was first published in 1788. .
