Title: Program of Experimental Hypnosis
Description: 1956. LYONS, Kenneth M. director. A PROGRAM OF EXPERIMENTAL HYPNOSIS: I. REINCARNATION, II. TELEPATHY, III. CLAIRVOYANCE. N.p. n.d. Photocopies of transcripts of four sessions, either in typescript or in manuscript, that record age and past-life regression through hypnosis. The sessions took place between May 3 and July 9, 1956. Besides the director and the subject (it appears the same subject was used at all four sessions), there were four observers present. [73] ff. variously paginated and printed on rectos only, in a commercial report folder with two-prong metal fasteners. Some leaves are lightly toned, but all are clean. The first page of the second session (identifying the subject) is missing. Very good. The stated hypothesis: "That human minds, through the use of hypnosis, can be regressed beyond the day of birth of their current life into a spiritual world and hence into a previous lifetime, and that said pattern is repetitious, thus supporting theories of Reincarnation." To prove: "That information obtained from a subject in a state of hypnosis, supposedly describing an existence in a spiritual world and in previous lifetimes, is a figmentation of the subconscious mind." No conclusions is supplied. .
