Folded letter to owner from Jefferson, in his handwriting, tipped in at front pastedown, dated Jan 3, 1991; the letter politely declines an invitation from a D. Green, a friend of the owner's. It is signed in a bold hand "Faithfully yours J Jefferson." Interior fine with many b/w illustrations, including a frontispiece portrait and engravings of Mr. Jefferson in various theatrical roles. .
