Some scuffing and minor edgewear to boards; one small spot of worming to middle front board, else no sign of critter activity. Clean text; the bottom opening corner of one of the final blank leaves has been torn off. A very good copy of the author's first and best known work, which went through many editions up to 1820 and was the standard work on the subject for nearly a century. Rare. [Wing K298]. .
