Contemporary ink inscription to ffep. Text leaves and plate are clean and fresh; although one leaf (p.101-2) is creased with a small marginal chip. The cloth shows a few, faint spots of dampstaining; and it is worn through in small spots at crown, heel, and corners. The spine is lightly sunned and askew. Nonetheless, a very good copy of an early Prang publication. (Sabin 56755). .
