(Fine original marbled endp.; all edges speckled red.). DMB 1472/4: 'On 2 January 1748 Oosterdyk Schacht was charged with the teaching of Praxis Medica. In the previous year he had published a work on this subject: 'Institutiones...'... He retired in 1790, after having served the University for more then 60 years.': Hirsch IV, 434: Not in BMN: Blake p.333: The author, a pupil of Boerhaave and taught by his father, first became professor at Franeker, afterwards in Utrecht. This edition is a pirated version produced in Germany (First ed. Utrecht 1747, second ed. Utrecht 1748; Vindobonae 1750, Utrecht 1767). The name of the publisher is not listed in Ledeboer.
