I, p. 310: Blake 440: Not in DMB: Swagerman was surgeon from Amsterdam. Swagerman discusses a large number of cases related to hydrocephalus and other known deviations to the spine and spinal cord. Furthermore remarks on hunchbacks and limps. Paragraph 135 discusses the case of a 6 year old boy, who dies at 10 as a result of hydrocephalic growth at the bottom of his spine. The 2 engraved pls. show the dissected portion of the growth.
