Buys Ballot, and Baumhauer (See DSB I, 527/8 and NNBW I, 253/4) of whom this work contains a.o. his analysis of meteores, leading up to his thesis (1844) for his degree of doctor in mathematics and physics. A fine complete set with all pr. wrappers and w. the rare cancel in vol. V, p. 479/480.
