It was the first time that his ideas were properly printed. The preface is by general Ferrié, who, with the author, anticipates missiles driven by atomic energy .: Correct scientific calculation for interplanetary travel, the exploration of the upper atmosphere by means of a rocket, the problem of escape velocity to overcome the earth's gravitation, are here published for the first time.
