Apart from the descriptions of the main European cities (London, Ghent, Brussels, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Copenhagen, Rotterdam, Delft, The Hague, Leiden, Haarlem, Stockholm, Liege, Aachen, Cologne, Vienna, Danzig, Warsaw, Cracow, Venice etc.), it describes their monuments, art treasures, presents details on population and commerce, religion and government. Some specific points of interest: details on the Tower of London, the anatomical theatre at the University of Leiden, the Jewish quarters in Cracow, a silvermine in Sweden, the arsenal of Venice etc.
