['door I.C.', sometimes seen as 'I.I.'] & a small woodcut vign. on printed title. Unbound bookblock, sewing prepared. Between protective Ph neutral grey paper covers. [*4 [I/II: engr. front; III/IV: printed title; V/VI: to the reader & VII/VIII: index leaf], A - T4]. (VIII, 152 pp.). (Last quire righthand margin frayed, dogeared; throughout some spots and imperf.). (Frontispiec w. a few vertical purple stripes; A few instances of marking, striping, a name in margin in aniline pencil; ). Rare. And still so despite this copy's obvious flaws. Cat. II, 3408 for his 'Dendrographias...'[1662], an illustrated folio publication which seems to have figured as the original source for this 1663 4to Nylandt edition: Nissen, comp. 1007 [idem Dendrographia 1662]: Johnston, Cleveland Herbal, comp. item 233 [Dendrographias 1662]: STCN w. only 2 copies at Amsterdam UB & 1 at Leiden.
