(Paper throughout medium browning and medium foxing, as is usual with these booklets.). Arndt 2184 (w. illustration of titlepage): Curious Americanum printed and published by Ritter of Reading Pennsylvania, offering a conversion table for interest calculations from shillings to pounds and cents to dollars at a rate of 6%, for the use of immigrant German settlers. Rare. On verso of printed title the claim laid down by John Simon Caesar to be recognized as the author of this publication, a copy of which deposited 'in this office'. District of Pennsylvania, signed in letterpress at bottom 'D.Caldwell, Clerk of the District of Pennsylvania'. The preface by the author consists of a 1 page 'Short directions' on how to use the interest calculator and its tables.
