Hellinga - Queriodo & Clemens de Wolf, 'Laurens Janszoon Coster was zijn naam' pp. 101 - e.v. spec. on the Coster festivities in 1823 which had a national character and included an assembly in the 'Grote Kerk' at Haarlem where Prof. van der Palm held a speech and a 'Feestzang' was sung which had been composed by Hendrik Tollens. Afterwards unveiling of the monument [by Jan David Zocher] in the Haarlemmerhout. Song and dance, fireworks, souvenirs and 'merchandising'. Exhibitions of the typographic Coster material in the Mennonite Church where a newly painted portrait of Coster was also shown [by Jan Adam Kruseman]. The Haarlem based bookseller and publisher Vincent Loosjes had the 'Gedenkschriften' of the festivities published in 1824.
