Included is an unsigned carbon copy of the letter which is being answered by Griggs. James B. Pond of the Pond Lecture Bureau writes that a club in Amsterdam, NY has invited Griggs to lecture and he asks whether Griggs would like him to handle the arrangements. Griggs replies "I think I would better stick to my regular plan of making my own engagements directly with the community inviting me, especially as my program for next season is now practically filled."
