This Heritage Press edition was published in the coronation year (1953) of Elizabeth II, along with marvelous woodcut engraved illustrations by Agnes Miller Parker. Includes decorations by John Austen and an introduction by John Hayward. Sandglass leaflet not present. --- Interior leaves of high-quality, thin pale yellow papers. Volume in yellow decorated paper-covered boards backed in orange cloth with titling & decorations in red on spine; maroon topstain. Volume housed in dark red paper-covered slipcase. --- With fading to spine titling & decorations, small tear to cloth at tail of spine, else a clean, tightly-bound copy. Loosened front and rear hinges have been repaired on this item. Slipcase has been repaired with mismatched dark red paper, and with spots of soiling and tears to opening; is not pretty but is stabilized.
