This delightful collection of magazines provides an insight into the way of life in the US early in the latter half of the 19th Century. --- Monthly issues of the magazine bound into this volume, without their original monthly covers/wraps. In brown half leather and brown cloth with spine titling in gilt. The name 'H. F. Lunt' has been stamped in gilt to cover. --- A Fair-only copy, with loosened hinges, somewhat warped boards and chafing to cover extremities. The textblock itself remains tightly-bound and stable. The leather is rather unstable and susceptible to transfer/rubbing off onto neighboring surfaces.; Tall Octavo - 9 to 10 in. tall; viii, [3], 4-480 pages. Poor with no dust jacket .
