One from a rather scarce version of the series, "The Harvard Classics" as published by P. F. Collier, edited by Charles W. Eliot. --- In dark red buckram cloth-covered boards with titling and Harvard crest, and Charles Eliot's facsimile signature in gilt on the cover; gilt-stamped spine titling. TEG (top edge gilt), other edges deckled and with dark red ribbed endpapers. Lacks a dust jacket. --- With a few whitish spots to covers, moderate wear to extremities of cloth, else a sound, unmarked, sturdy copy.; Octavo - 8 to 9 in. tall; (4), 444 pages. Very Good with no dust jacket .
